MGOCSM Mumbai Diocese Annual Conference 2016

Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) is a Christian Student Organization working with  motto of Worship, Study and Service and encouraging students to have an active participation in the Church activities. Classes on faith, liturgy, orientation program for 10th and 12th students, providing help to the needy and various cultural and sports activities are conducted throughout the year. MGOCSM gives a platform for students to come together and share their views, thoughts and talents which help them to develop themselves spiritually.

This year Bombay Diocese started a new initiative OSF (Orthodox Student Forum) focussing on spreading the basic elements of faith among our youngsters. Guest speakers (Sr. MGOCSM members) are assigned with Parishes, where they would take a session and then assign the units with a small task and there after they coordinate with them for the same. Apart from this, every year we have Annual Conference, Bi Zonal Conference (Malad and Dadar Zone, Kalyan and Vashi Zone ), Aura (Christmas Carol Competition) etc conducted.

Nowadays students are busy with work or exams and hardly find time to relax, keeping this in mind the Diocese decided to give a change to this routine by scheduling the Annual Conference from December 29th –January 1st 2017 at Mar Chrysostom Camp Center, Lonavala. Wherein the members can come together to witness beauty and spirituality at its best and also thereby welcoming the New Year together with the MGOCSM family. The conference will have speeches by eminent speakers,  interactive sessions and games, meditation, song sessions taken by Divine Ragas.
